PHYSIO CAITLIN

Hi there! I’m a Physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience, a mum of two, and someone who’s been through two C-section births myself. This course blends the practical tools I use every day in my clinic, with the kind of encouraging, real-world advice I wish a best friend had shared with me after my first C-section.

It’s not just about recovery, it’s about feeling stronger, more supported, and more like you again, one gentle step at a time.

Just a few of the things you’ll learn: (plus more)

Mum with newborn baby
  • Gentle, physio-led movement, scar care tips, nutrition and core recovery strategies designed to help you regain strength, even when you're low on sleep and short on time. Practical tips from a Mum who’s been there.

  • Discover easy, realistic ways to manage your pain to keep moving in these early weeks. As well as some fun style tips to help you feel bright while making feeding convenient and as easy as possible.

  • Enjoy physio-led safe, guided movements to ease aches and pains and regain strength. Even lifting and feeding a new bub is tricky after a c-section. These tips help. There’s a video for every early milestone of recovery.

Course FAQ

  • You can begin this gentle, physio-led C-section recovery course within the first few days after birth, as long as you feel ready and have approval from your healthcare provider. (eg. midwife) Early modules focus on rest, mindset, and simple movements to support your healing. Whether you're still in the hospital or a few weeks postpartum, you can go at your own pace.

  • No. It’s WAY more than that! While there are a few movement videos, this course is full of expert-led info plus handy tips. It’s full of what I wished someone had walked me through, step by step: From how to get out of bed without hurting yourself, to what snacks keep you going when you're too tired to cook.

  • Absolutely. C-section recovery is a journey lasting much longer than the ‘6 weeks’ people mention after birth.

Looking after your baby is an ongoing process, and finding time to recover is tricky. The early must-haves might not be useful if you had your bub over 6 months ago, but the other sections will be useful.

  • No. As a health professional, I know there’s no substitute for seeing your care provider in person or via Zoom about your unique situation.

However, the course does include physiotherapy-backed information, as well as a few tips from an Obstetrician.

If you experience any concerning symptoms, are worried at all about your scar, or have any specific questions, always discuss with your midwife and care team.

  • Absolutely. This course is designed for all C-section mums: Whether it's your first, second, or fifth. In fact, recovery can sometimes feel more challenging with repeat C-sections, especially when you're caring for older children too. • Yes, absolutely. Some of the lessons will help you have a better idea of what’s ahead of you. Save the movement videos for after your bub arrives.
